The companies have supplied 21 million cubic meters of gas in September of the current year and intend to increase their supplies to 120 million cubic meters per month before the end of 2015.
Andrey Favorov, director of ERU TRADING: ‘Steps made by the management of Naftogaz of Ukraine for liberalization of the gas market enable us to speak about the establishment of the common European and Ukrainian gas market. The start of the joint activity by ERU TRADING and ENGIE on this market will make it possible to expand the product line of commercial energy products for Ukrainian consumers. We are glad to have the opportunity to take active part in the development of the market and optimistically estimate the future prospects of our joint operations with ENGIE in Ukraine.’
Strategic partnership with ENGIE enables ERU TRADING to offer European instruments for gas purchase to Ukrainian consumers as well as hedging of the associated commercial risks. ERU TRADING is ready to guarantee gas supply quantities and price conditions to industrial consumers of Ukraine for the term of one month to several years ahead. Diversification of commercial gas supplies to Ukraine will make it possible to ensure reliable and uninterrupted operation of the country’s gas market during this heating season.
