Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo and ERU Management Services have signed an agreement providing for the purchase by the Polish company of a controlling interest in Ukraine’s Karpatgazvydobuvannya, the sole holder of the Byblivska licence located in Western Ukraine, in an area adjacent to the Polish border.
ERU and EBRD signed a two year committed loan agreement for 10 mln Euro to finance gas trading operations related to the usage of Ukrainian gas underground storages. This deal will support ERU in its preparation for the winter season and help to secure reasonable cost financing of additional gas in Ukrainian storages.
ERU Group continues to develop new directions of activity and further strengthening its Тeam. Being based in Austria Andrii Berezhnyi will lead European operations of ERU Group. Mr. Berezhnyi will focus on the expansion of the ERU Group's presence in Europe, execution of electricity generation projects and the implementation of the Group's energy efficiency projects.

Under a contract with Energy Resources of Ukraine (ERU), PGNiG will for the first time supply natural gas to Gas TSO of Ukraine. To date, PGNiG has already exported more than 3 bcm of natural gas to Ukraine.
Energy Resources of Ukraine Group (ERU Group) has extended its 20-year political risk insurance (PRI) contract with the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), expanding the coverage from USD 38 million to USD 100 million.
The first-ever reverse delivery of natural gas from the Adriatic coast to Ukraine was carried out by ERU TRADING today. The purchase of gas took place in Greece and the fuel was transported to Ukraine via the gas-transport systems of Greece and Romania. These are test deliveries aimed at the needs of the domestic market, but the main goal is the possibility of further access to the Revithoussa LNG Terminal. This increases the diversification of gas supplies on the European continent and strengthens Ukraine's position as an Eastern European energy hub.
